Decal Day - Public Service
Decal Day - Public Service
Lander 6th graders partnered with Popo Agie Conservation District and the Lander Pet Connection to provide a public service to our community. The students learned about the importance of watershed health. Decals remind people that anything that goes down our storm drains in Lander goes directly to the river. Picking up pet waste is important because "When it rains, it drains". Stormwater can carry harmful contaminants to the river.

Close to 40 decals were installed and over 50 pounds of trash was picked up. The kids also created a Public Service Announcement.
