Annual Seedling Tree Program

Because of PACD’s annual Seedling Tree Program, our local communities have an affordable means of purchasing low cost seedling trees, including many drought resistant varieties. PACD also provides easy access to information about planting and keeping trees healthy in Fremont County area. Finally, PACD offers planning assistance including species selection, windbreaks, drip irrigation, and basic tree care and maintenance.
Each year the district starts taking seedling tree orders in November and continues until the end of March. Seedling trees arrived late April for distribution. During FY 2003-2004, over 10,000 trees and shrubs were sold within the District. In addition to seedling tree sales, PACD also sold over 1,300 feet of commercial grade landscape fabric.
Popo Agie Conservation District is now accepting orders for the 2008 Seedling Tree Program. Please contact PACD for more information.
